Our story began 25 years ago, when founder Gary Gowdy established Gowdy Electric after already spending nearly two decades as a licensed electrician. With over 40 years of hands-on experience in the trade, Gary built the company on a foundation of expertise, integrity, and service to the Central Coast community.

Today, Gowdy Electric continues as a family-owned, electrical business, with Gary’s son, Jim, carrying the legacy forward. We bring the same commitment to craftsmanship and safety to every project, whether it’s a small residential repair or a large-scale commercial installation.
